Offset Print (Disc face)

Used for: The most common method for high resolution full colour CMYK CD DVD face printing

Run size: 200 units +

CD DVD production lines produce a silver colour disc that is then printed by a HANKY or similar high speed offset disc printer.

The typical offset disc printer will first print a white base to the disc, then it will print cyan, magenta, yellow and black plates to produce a full colour CMYK design.

Many such printers also have a 5th colour station available to add a solid Pantone PMS colour ink to the design.
