Screen Print (Disc Face)

Used for: High speed disc face printing of solid Pantone colour designs - less commonly for CMYK disc face printing

Run size: 200+ units

When the first CDs and DVDs were produced, offset disc face printers had not yet been developed. Instead, all discs were screen printed on high speed specialised screen print lines.

These printers are still in use today, although they are primarily used for solid Pantone colour ink designs that can't easily be handled by an offset plate disc press.
